Advantage Metal Powders continues to grow and will be breaking ground in the spring to add an additional 10,000 sq ft on to our facility. We are seeing an increased demand from our customer base which has made us get to the point of needing to add additional space to our facility.

As always, one of our main focuses is to provide the best possible service available and this addition will just continue to allow us to do so.

Advantage Metal Powders takes delivery of our brand new delivery truck and will soon have two trucks on the road to better service the growing demand from our customers.

Did we mention Advantage Metal Powders is growing? Slated to come in March of 2022 is a brand-new delivery truck. We’re not getting rid of our other delivery truck either. We can’t seem to keep up with all our deliveries with just one truck, so we decided to add a 2nd truck and driver to continue to be a leader in the powder blending industry and also allow us to have the best customer service possible. This is a direct result of our customers continuing to help us grow and we couldn’t be more thankful for that!

Advantage Metal Powders has added two additional Penn State degreed Engineering staff. Nick Tomblin came about in May of 2020 to work as our Lab Supervisor with a degree in General Engineering, Applied Materials track. Nick is responsible for the overall quality and testing of all the products leaving our facility.

Brent Matheson also joined our team in September of 2020 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Brent has a lot of experience in part production and material selection so this role allows our customers to really weigh in on his knowledge to assist them with any project.

Advantage Metal Powders is growing! In April of 2021 after we had been working about 20 weekends straight, we added a 3rd shift to help us better meet our customers’ demands while allowing our workforce to still enjoy the weekends with their families. Our 3rd shift is there to provide continuous, around the clock work flow to help us keep up the short lead times our customers have come to expect from Advantage.
